O-shot®

 The O Shot®

The O Shot® is a patented treatment for increased sexual pleasure, reduction of urinary incontinence and improved vaginal lubrication. If you’re a woman who suffers from diminished sensitivity, inability to achieve an orgasm, or urinary incontinence the O-Shot® may be a solution for you.
The O Shot® uses Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) from the patient's own blood, which is activated as a Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM), to stimulate the patients own platelet growth factors to generate improvement in sexual function.

What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is isolated from the patient’s own blood using a centrifuge. Activation of the PRP results in release of at least 8 different growth factors that would normally be used to heal injured tissue. These growth facts work like magic go increase collagen and elastin, promote angiogenesis (or the formation of new blood vessels), improve blood flow, and promote formation of new nerve endings.
To elevate the effects of O-Shot, we can combine therapy with Medelle (vaginal rejuvenation).

How does the O-Shot work?
The O Shot® procedure begins with topical anaesthetic applied to the clitoris and upper vaginal region to help numb the area. A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm. This sample is then put into a special centrifuge to produce the Platelet-Rich Plasma.
The Platelet-Rich Plasma is then injected into the numbed area at the base of the clitoris and upper vagina.
The O-Shot® treatment provides a very specific way of using the growth factors within Platelet-Rich Plasma to stimulate multi-potent stem cells to generate healthier and more functional tissue in the areas of sexual response and urinary continence within the vagina (G-Spot, O-Spot, Skene’s Glands, urethra, & vaginal wall). By revitalizing and rejuvenating this area, it not only lessens the problem of bladder leakage but also improves sexual function.  Patients report that they feel no pain during the O-Shot®!
Results?
Vaginal Tissues are Regenerated. The healing and growth factors cause new cell growth and vascularisation to occur over several months. Tissues become more supple, sensitive and elastic. They thicken and produce more lubrication when stimulated.
Many women experience an improvement in their urinary stress incontinence almost immediately, while an improvement in sensation may take three weeks to six months.
Combine the O-Shot® with Medelle (vaginal rejuvenation using Empower RF) for enhanced results.

Procedure Time?
We allow about 60-75 minutes, this for a full consultation and examination and the procedure itself.

Adverse Effects?
The most common side effects include, temporary skin reactions such as redness, pain, tenderness, firmness, swelling, lumps or bruising.

Pre Treatment?
As part of your O-Shot treatment and cost, you will receive a BePure kit of vitamins:

Do not take any blood thinning medications or Anti-inflammatory drugs such as Nurofen® and Voltaren® for two weeks before and six weeks after treatment. If you supplement with omega 3 fatty acids (fish, krill or flax seed oil),  stop these during the same period.
