Nicole McDonald BN NZRN

CLINIC OWNER/ NURSE THERAPIST

Hi I’m Nicole, one of the Registered Nurse Therapists and more recently the Clinic Owner of Clinique Elan.

I started my nursing career in Christchurch working in a private hospital specialising in post-operative surgical care. From there I went to work for a Dermatologist and Cosmetic Surgeon, where I specialised in cosmetic surgery, dermatology and appearance medicine.

During those years I was fortunate enough to travel throughout New Zealand and Australia for training both in appearance medicine and dermatology and have consequently developed a vast knowledge and understanding of both dermal fillers and botulinum treatments as well as skin rejuvenation and the understanding of the ageing face.

My knowledge extends to the use of all of all botulinum toxins - Dysport, Xeomin and Botox. I have also had previous experience with multiple products from the Teosyal, Restylane, Juvederm and Belotero ranges.

I have developed an absolute passion for appearance medicine and feel blessed to have been a part of the journey that has brought me to running the incredible clinic that Clinique Elan is. Deborah Wake (the previous owner) has been an inspiration and has guided me on this new journey to running a clinic that is very renowned for its quality of care.

As most of you may already know my life doesn't just stop at the clinic, myself and my husband, Lance, run a dairy goat farm on Lake Karapiro where we have 1000 goats to keep us entertained as well as our gorgeous little dogs Luna and Ace. We both look forward to our new journey as business owners and are excited to see Clinique Elan grow and evolve over the coming years.

Clinique Elan has always been well known for its experience, outstanding service and impeccable results, which is exactly how I intend on running CE moving forward. We are so fortunate to have such a lovely team that all endeavor to ensure that you are all well looked after throughout your whole experience.
CE may have a brand new look, but we are still the same team with the same amazing service.

I look forward to seeing all of our regular clients in the clinic as well as some new faces.

Nicole xx

Caroline Harris BN NZRN

NURSE THERAPIST

Hi, I’m Caroline. I joined the Clinique Élan team in August 2019. I am a registered nurse, having trained in Hamilton in 2010. Following my graduation, I worked at Waikato Hospital in the Cardio Thoracic and Vascular ward for seven years. I left there in 2017 when my daughter was born.

I really loved my role as a nurse, so went back to work part-time for a Maxillo Facial and Oral Surgeon as his surgical assistant. There I learnt a lot about facial anatomy, which then bought about the opportunity to enter the industry of appearance medicine, something I have always been interested in. I was so lucky to be offered a role as a nurse therapist with the team at Clinique Elan.

Since starting with the team at CE, I have been involved in training in-house, as well as externally, to learn about the skin, the ageing process, skin rejuvenation procedures and the range of products that we have to offer here. I have been injecting Dysport and Xeomin since I started here and have completed my training in the Belotero and Teoxane ranges of HA fillers as well as the use of Radiesse as a bio-stimulant. I really love creating a look that is natural, which is exactly what my clients are hoping for.

I have a real passion for the skin rejuvenation procedures here at CÉ - dermal needling and the Redensity skin booster creates beautiful results. I am especially interested in doing PRP therapy for skin rejuvenation and to reduce hair loss.
I have trained with Deborah, treating clients with microsclero therapy which I have been really enjoying.

A bit about myself, I am the proud mum of two amazing daughters Sophia and Ruby, and live in here in Hamilton with my husband Peter.  I'm always looking for an adventure, exploring NZ in the caravan, taking the mountain bikes along for a ride.  We try to get out to the snow and the lakes when we can.  I'm definitely a bit of a foodie and love a good red wine.

Caitlyn Coulston

SKIN & LASER THERAPIST /ADMINISTRATOR / MARKETING COORDINATOR

Hi I’m Caitlyn, a qualified Beauty Therapist since 2012, and now also an advanced dermal therapist. I have been with the CÉ team since September 2016, I love being hands on as part of a small team. No two days are the same for me, I get to spread myself between building and maintaining our website, social media, marketing, client enquiries, skin consultations, treatments and more.

My main role is as a skin therapist, which involves comprehensive skin consultations, advice on skin care products  - what to use and how to get the most out of them and performing medifacials from the extensive range on offer. After many years working with cosmeceutical skincare, as well as the ongoing in-clinic education regarding the specific products we sell at the clinic, I love to be able to follow my passion by helping my clients find the right regime, especially designed for them.

In my spare time I like to stay equally as busy, running a side business making and designing eco friendly dog accessories and helping out where needed with our family building company, I'm not the best at sitting still and will happily get into DIY, or something creative on my weekends. I was Hamilton born and raised, and most of my family still live around the Waikato. My partner and I have two dogs who are our kids, and we love to travel NZ with them in tow, we're quite partial to a glamping trip or exploring the wine regions of New Zealand.

Julie Morgan

ADMINISTRATOR & ACCOUNTS MANAGER

I am responsible for the financial aspects of the clinic.  As Deb and I had worked together prior to Clinique Elan opening in 2013, I had some experience and insight into the Appearance Medicine industry.

I previously worked as a residential property valuer, taught computer skills and worked with the Waikato Breast Cancer Trust.  The skills I acquired in these roles have proved invaluable in my role here at the clinic.   I have had the opportunity of implementing new systems that assist in the smooth running of the clinic.

I love working at Clinique Elan, meeting and working with wonderful people is an awesome way to spend my day.  I enjoy staying active with my sister Barb who also helps out where needed around the clinic and spending time with my family and two grandchildren.

Wendy Moore

PRACTICE MANAGER

Hi, I’m Wendy, the new Practice Manager for both Hamilton and Cambridge Clinics. I am responsible for our clinic’s performance and business growth, leadership and HR, operations, compliance and administration for the successful day-to-day running of both practices, as well as nurture and proactively promote the Clinique Elan vision.
We have a highly motivated team here at Clinique Elan focused on delivering high quality care to help people feel more confident in their skin. Supporting my team to deliver this exceptional customer experience to every client is an easy task with our gorgeous, positive team environment.
I have been working in the skin rejuvenation and appearance medicine industry for the last few years, along with a varied and broad prior career history including a Psychology degree, numerous analyst roles within Fonterra and starting and running our own nutritionally designed, ready-made meal business.
My absolute pride and joy (apart from my own daughters) are my two beautiful grandchildren Archie and Emilia – totally obsessed. My husband Nick is my biggest supporter and loves to be used as a clinic model at any opportunity.
I will be primarily based in Cambridge as that is where my husband and I live, and I will be visiting the Hamilton branch each week. I look forward to meeting all our beautiful clients and watching our clinics grow.
