Relaunching Clinique Elan

Relaunching Clinique Elan

Hello Everyone, Happy New Year!

Hope you have all had a wonderful break, enjoying the beautiful weather.
We have been busy here in the clinic. Clinique Elan got a small make-over over the Christmas break with the help of my incredible family.

With Clinique Elan’s new look will come a few new changes within the clinic.
We now offer an exclusive Tea and Coffee menu, available to all of our clients pre or post treatment to enjoy.

We have a new skin care range in the clinic called PHI Cosmeceutical! However no need to panic, we will still be stocking all of our other amazing products. This new skin care fills a gap for us, it is a locally made product with similar values to what we are trying to achieve here at Clinique Elan. You will find more information about these products below:

Phi Cosmeceutical

We have welcomed PHI Cosmeceutical into the clinic as of December 2020.
Made in Christchurch the PHI Cosmeceutical range is the vision of Julia and Adele and embodies the vitality of Christchurch. The PHI cosmeceutical range in formulated by Jules and Adele in collaboration with a manufacturing specialist of beauty products in Christchurch. All of PHI’s products are formulated with active ingredients including anti-oxidants and peptides however its main focus has been relative to New Zealand's harsh sunlight. PHI’s products have melanin inhibitors in them to combat increased pigmentation. These ingredients change the metabolism of the skin rather just masking the problem. The active ingredients are also sealed in a way that prevents adverse reactions.

Why PHI?
The history of the word Phi (the Golden Ratio) can be found throughout life and the universe. Its appearance creates a sense of balance, harmony and beauty in the designs we find in nature. We have endeavored to create the perfect combination of ingredients – the golden ratio of skin care giving a sense of balance to your skin.
It appears all around us in our daily lives and in our aesthetic appreciation. Mankind has both applied this same proportion, both consciously and unconsciously to achieve balance, harmony, beauty in art, architecture, design and composition.

New Treatments!!!
Yes you heard right! We have bought in two new treatments for 2021;  Prophilo and Mono Threads.

Profhilo®

Profhilo® is a bio-remodeling product that works through the slow release of both high and low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid. While it consists of pure HA, it is not a dermal filler in the traditional sense, as its function is not to volumize but to induce bio-stimulation of cells. This means it stimulates the laying-down of new collagen and elastin in the superficial layers, just under the surface of the skin.
Once injected Profhilo® spreads and becomes integrated into the skin.
The result is lifted tissue with fewer lines and wrinkles, improved texture and intense hydration.
How many treatments will I need and what is the cost?
Profhilo® involves 2 treatments spread 4 weeks apart. The cost of 2 treatments is $1600.
What areas can be treated?
You can use it on the face, neck, hands and soon there will be treatment options for the décolletage, arms and legs too.
How long will the treatment last?
It is recommended to repeat at 9 months, and then annually, but the treatment can be repeated every six months.
What side effects can Profhilo® cause?
The common injection related side effects are localized and temporary, and may
include one or more of the following:
  • Swelling, redness and/or slight bruising.
  • Occasionally itching, pain/tenderness, or increasing swelling.
  • Rare risks such as blindness, loss of blood supply to an area of skin and infection associated with the filler product have been reported in literature. These are treatable if managed appropriately.
Am I suitable for this treatment?
With our natural collagen and elastin formation slowing from as young as 20 years of age anybody and everybody can benefit from Profhilo whether you are 30 or 70, male or female you will notice the difference.
Mint MonoThreads

As we already know, our bodies gradually produce less and less collagen, which leads to an 80% reduction in skin thickness by about age 70. This loss of volume and strength is a large factor in the creation of excess skin and wrinkles. As the skin grows weaker, it's no longer able to support the tissues beneath it adequately, meaning that gravity pulls it downwards and stretches it.  Collagen helps support "growth factors" that greatly influences the condition of our skin. In addition to being used for wound healing, collagen helps to keep our skin strong, voluminous and supple.

Mono threads are ideal for gently lifting the skin, threads combat ageing in another way: by provoking the body's "healing response" and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas. This is important because of the vital role collagen plays in the ageing process.

What are Mint Mono threads?

Mono Threads is a treatment which lifts and tightens sagging skin tissue, using threads made of Polydioxanone (PDO) Instant Skin Lifting through mechanical effects. PDO threads create Cellular Renewal, through Collagen stimulation, and neovascularisation to improve skin texture, fine lines and elasticity.

How long does a thread lift last?

About 3 months after the procedure, the PDO threads will disappear through simple hydrolysis (they are absorbable). The lifted facial contours will remain for about 6 - 12 months or more, due to the cellular rejuvenation effects.

Mint thread lifts are low risk, thanks to how non-invasive they are. Patients may experience bruising, swelling in the treated areas. In rare cases, patients may experience irritation, infection or their sutures becoming visible under their skin. If this occurs, however, the sutures can simply be removed and the patient's face will return to its prior state.

Introductory Special: $200 for your first treatment
