Frown Lines

Botulinum treatments and fillers are both options to address this problem, but Dysport® (botulinum toxin) is generally the first treatment of choice.

This is because it treats the problem, not just the symptom. Dysport® (our brand of Botox®) is injected into the frown muscles, which over time have become over active. Five to ten days after administration of Dysport®, the muscles are paralysed so the frown can no longer be created, which in time, also softens the frown lines themselves. Dysport® treatments last 3 - 4 months. Skin rejuvenation treatments can also help improve the look of the skin in this area, and enhance the effects of the botulinum toxin treatments.
